A mission team returned from Haiti June 1st after spending a week playing with kids and painting at the Lambert school. There were 14 people on the trip, the largest group yet, ages 15 to 70. Those gifted with technology set up a Wi-Fi network so now the school has access to internet. It was exciting to see more than 600 children running around the school during recess. However, it was also heartbreaking seeing some children lingering outside the gates because their parents are unable to pay for school. We hope to return next summer on a landscape mission to help spruce-up the grounds. Let us know if you want to brave the heat with us!
