National Day of Racial Healing Event

On January 22, 2019 the City of Wichita joined forces with Global Faith in Action , Beyond Tolerance, Mid-American All-Indian Center & the Wichita Ministerial League to host an event for REAL. This event was called The National Day of Racial Healing event. Bishop Wade Moore brought his choir to sing for us. There were Native Americans playing a drum to symbolize unity and coming together. We had community members, the police chief and a politician who answered the question "What does Racial Healing look like to you?" This is just another step Global Faith in Action took to make the community we live in a better place
