First United Methodist Church
330 N Broadway, 6:30pm Sunday April 26
Artists
This year’s concert will feature master sitar player Ustad Nizami and the debut of his son Faraz on Sitar. A Master Tabala player, Faraz has chosen Wichita as the first location he will play the sitar in public. It will be special event from a Sufi Muslim perspective, as the training of a sitar player is a very sacred process. Performing with the Nizami’s will be Wichita’s very own master organist Brett Valiant of First United Methodist Church.
Universal Harmony Choir
This year's concert is also special in that it will feature the first ever Universal Harmony Choir, a chorus comprised of members from local choirs and open to anyone that would like to sing.
